Mother Corine Huffman is the wife of Supt. Herman Huffman. She has two daughters, one son and eleven grandchildren.
Mother Huffman accepted Jesus Christ as her Personal Saviour and started her Christian journey under the direction of the Holy Ghost in 1977. Since that time, she has never wavered in her servitude to Jesus Christ. She has worked in the following capacities;
On the Local Level a YPPW President, Bible Band Instructor, Youth Sunday School Teacher, Sunshine President, YWCC President, Choir President, Vacation Bible School Coordinator and Trustee Board Member. On the District Level a Choir President, Asst. District Missionary, YWCC President and District Missionary.
On the Jurisdictional Level appointed to lead the Women of Oklahoma Northwest Jurisdiction by Bishop Lee Vicker Broom, Chairperson of Former Jurisdictional Supervisor Mother Verna Mae Gaines Appreciation Service. Assistant Coordinator for Bishop Broom’s Annual Banquet, Minister’s Wife Circle Vice President, and CWC President.
On the National Level Mother Huffman is Head Hostess and Coordinator for the International CWC Annual Fellowship Breakfast, Regional CWC President. Mother Huffman has received several honours, They are as follows: Christian Ministers Alliance of Tulsa a scholarship named in her honour (2006), State of Oklahoma Governor’s Commendation (2005), Citation from the Oklahoma House of Representatives (2005), Special Recognition from the Mayor of Tulsa (2005), Proclamation from Tulsa City Council (2005), District Missionary of the Year (1997-1998) and International CWC Queen for two consecutive years 2000-2001 and 2001-2002.
On the Community Level, Mother Huffman has functioned in several capacities; McIntosh County Better Homes and Garden Club President, 1981-1985, Vernon High School Reunion Foundation President 1986-1988 and a volunteer for the Dustin High School since 1996.
